Shareland iis a quiet, nature-based place on rustic land in the Sintra region of Portugal. A place for people who want to move, spend time outdoors and treat the landscape with respect.

Here, biking, surfing, climbing, simple accommodation, small encounters and permaculture come together. reduced, honest and far from mass tourism.

Movement within the landscape
Surfing and climbing activities are created in collaboration with local, independent partners.
Shareland itself does not offer courses or guided activities,
but provides space and basic infrastructure, voluntary, self-responsible and in harmony with nature.
Simple living close to nature.
Staying at Shareland means:
less comfort, more connection.

At Shareland there are no fixed prices. Stays are based on voluntary contributions (donations).
These contributions support:
care and regeneration of the land

the development of permaculture

simple infrastructure for movement and staying

Move. Share.
Regenerate.
Permaculture & local diversity
The land is shaped step by step according to permaculture principles. A special focus lies on healthy soils, water retention, biodiversity and planting and preserving old, local varieties.

Small encounters
Instead of large events, there are occasional small, quiet gatherings.

A project from the heart
Shareland is carried by people who work and earn their living outside this project, mostly in Switzerland. Shareland is not an income source, but a project from the heart.
